Your first login and the dashboard
What to expect the first time you log in to Gradeworks — a guided tour of the dashboard, main navigation, and where to find everything.
The first time you log in to Gradeworks, you land on the dashboard — a high-level snapshot of your company's active work. Before diving in, take a few minutes to understand the layout. Knowing where things live saves time every day after.
The dashboard
The dashboard shows key metrics at a glance: active bids, upcoming scheduled work, crews dispatched today, and recent activity. Each widget links to its full view — click the active bids count to jump to Estimating, or click a dispatched crew to open the dispatch board.
Dashboard content varies by role. Admins and office staff see company-wide metrics. Foremen see their crew's assignments. Estimators see their bid pipeline. The system tailors what you see to what you need.
